From “drilling” to “nurturing.”
Dental care that protects
peace of mind and body.
“Never again let anyone lose their smile” — a dental clinic built on that wish,
here to protect your smile. In Jinnan, Shibuya. All fees clearly listed.
The name Halulu combines “Ha” (歯, Japanese for “tooth”) with “lulu,” a Hawaiian word meaning “peace and calm.” We want to be a place that does not simply drill teeth, but brings “peace” to each person's mind and body by protecting and nurturing their teeth. That wish is where our name came from.
What we value most is not focusing only on the symptoms in front of us, but caring for each person with their past and their future in mind. Before drilling or extracting, we keep choosing to protect and nurture your teeth.
The mouth is connected to the body and the mind. When needed, Halulu works together with medical doctors, looking beyond the boundaries of dentistry to consider the whole person.
Whatever your age or background, every member of our staff works to make you feel “I can relax here” and “I am cared for here.”
When teeth are protected, people naturally smile and look ahead.Halulu is a dental clinic that keeps protecting smiles by nurturing teeth.
Do any of these sound familiar?

Our facilities and commitments

A high-precision intraoral scanner and camera capture your condition accurately. We check even areas that are hard to see with the naked eye and explain them carefully.

We use AIRFLOW by EMS to gently remove biofilm, tartar and stains without harming your teeth or gums.

For children and adults. By balancing the muscles of the tongue, lips and breathing, we guide you toward natural alignment and a natural smile.

Less sensitivity, with whiteness you can really see. We aim for a natural, translucent white while caring for your tooth structure.

We see the mouth as part of the whole body and work with medical doctors when needed, with your future health and smile in view.

Instruments are sterilized or replaced for every patient, and we keep the clinic thoroughly clean, so you can nurture your teeth with peace of mind.
Our Director

Dr. Kazuya Shiho (四方 一弥)
What led me to become a dentist were the regretful words, “If only I had started prevention earlier.” Not treating teeth after they are lost, but not losing them in the first place. Being able to keep eating, talking and laughing naturally as you grow older. I believe small daily care and small discoveries are what make that possible.
At Halulu, we value care that drills as little as possible and protects and nurtures the teeth you have now. I try to be gentle and attentive so that even people who dislike dentists can visit with peace of mind. Nurturing teeth and protecting smiles: sharing that wish with you, I hope to provide dental care that stays with you throughout your life.
Our Team
Dentists, dental hygienists, nurses and an orthodontist work as a team to support your mouth and your whole body.

Graduated from the Nihon University School of Dentistry at Matsudo Dental Hygienist School. Having once "lost her smile" through dental treatment, she believes a dental clinic must never be a place that takes smiles away. With the wish to "nurture teeth and protect smiles," she works to keep Halulu a place you can visit with peace of mind.

After working in a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and at a nursery run by a dental clinic, she provides consistent care from pregnancy through infancy and childhood. As a bridge between medicine and dentistry, she values creating an environment where families can visit with peace of mind.

I hope to help reduce, even a little, the risk of losing teeth because of the bite. Orthodontics / pediatric and adult orthodontics / wire and clear aligner orthodontics. Please feel free to ask about anything.

Focusing mainly on preventive dentistry, I support patients in building good oral health. My favorite treatments are "deep cleaning" and "whitening." My hobby is trying out restaurants. I look forward to seeing you.

Focuses mainly on periodontal treatment and on preventing cavities and gum disease. Holding lip art makeup and clinical anesthesia certifications, she supports the health and beauty of your mouth from both medical and aesthetic sides, with careful, attentive care.

A healthy mouth leads to a healthy body. I will work closely with each patient so that you can feel how important that is, and want to come back again and again.

From her experience supporting people of all ages at a university hospital and in child-abuse prevention work, she has seen how deeply oral health is tied to a person's life. Focusing on mother-and-child support and children's oral care, she supports families warmly from the perspectives of medicine, public health and welfare.
